Does every household in Chile have a vacuum? - vacuum travel bags
This may sound like an insulting question, but I question that ignorance.
I travel to Chile in July and want to minimize the most in the bag, put the jacket in big plastic bags and sucking air with a vacuum. What I do not know if they have gaps in Chile, so I do not know if I can repeat this process if it is time to go.

Do you want to live in a house or a hotel? Since each hotel has a void and most of the houses too. I think the gap is not only people living in rural or poor and without electricity. If you are staying in a hotel, please contact via e-mail and ask for it. If you live in a house, avoid aske and complaints. I do not think the problem is an insult to the Chileans, I think it shows that you do not know in this area.
As Chile's something more than an insulting question, but as U know nothing about Chile is the best way to learn more. Well, we are empty and stores or Home Depot are the same bags. We also have laptops, WiFi points, iPods and everything you find in all American households.
