Do I need a 'slide scanner' or can I use an ordinary 'scanner' for slides? - slide scanner
Now I have my mother and my uncle's slides that I want to put back on a CD or a file on your computer. Can I give it to me with a normal scan? (photos, documents, etc.) or not using a special scanner to buy to do to connect to my computer? I have an answer that is a slide scanner that you have with your digital camera. But I have one of these cameras. Thank you very much for your help. I am a little worried that if I could pass away, all sent through a site image is something all these precious memories of my mother and my uncle - who are now dead. Mary thank you very much.

My scanner (Epson Perfection 3490) came with a special device that I scan slides or negatives into my computer to capture it on CD. I would not try to use the scanner to "normal" you need light to you during the film. Check if your scanner is with an investment or if you buy it for disposal.
